Think of your favourite film and the warming, moving and stirring feeling the music that evokes. This is what Milton Keynes Orchestra’s Night at the Movies is all about on Friday 7 June.

From the classically British theme of James Bond to the emotive and captivating sounds of Gladiator, the Night at the Movies has been choreographed to make the audience laugh, cry and relive some of Hollywood’s classics through the beautifully presented Orchestra.

Held at the Milton Keynes Theatre and conducted by the sublime Principal Conductor Hillary Davan Wetton, he says: “Lights, Camera, Action! Here is the magnificent evening of film music we’ve been hoping to programme for ages. You will hear a mix of well-known classical pieces that have become popular favourites through their use in films, and great scores composed specifically for movies that have entered the hall of fame.”
